PhD Thesis (2020-2024) Title: “Modelling and Visual Analytics of Immigration Semantic Trajectories in local societies and cultures“.

Mrs Maria Karathanasi is a secondary teacher of Science. She graduated from the University of Patras and she holds a master’ s degree in ”Mathematical modeling in the natural sciences and modern technologies” from the Mathematics Department of the Aegean University. She worked in the sector of education, giving private lessons at first and then as an owner of a tutoring school. Since 2010, she has been working as a permanent teacher at the General High School of Samos. Her current scientific interest lies in the  use of big data analytics in order to map immigration (semantic) trajectories and their impacts on the cultures affected.
