Dr. Stamatis Chatzistamatis holds a PhD from the University of the Aegean, Department of Cultural Technology and Communication, a MSc in Management Science and Information Systems and a BSc in Informatics. He works as IT at the Democritus University of Thrace. In the past, he worked for an IT solutions company and as a computer hardware consultant. His main research interests are laser scanning, 3D computer vision, machine learning, 3D mapping, and Reality-based 3D modeling for heritage documentation.
