Dr. Alexandros Teneketzis is an Art Historian. He holds a Phd in Art History from the University of Crete as well as a postgraduate degree in European Art History. He is a Member of the Greek Society of Art Historians/ Comité international d’histoire de l’art (CIHA) and Member of the AICA (Hellas). He has worked as a Researcher at the Institute for Mediterranean Studies – Foundation of Technology and Research Hellas (FORTH), Rethymno-Crete in Greece. Currently, he is collaborating with Kontopoulos Museum and Zoggolopoulos Foundation and he is academic tutor in Hellenic Open University and in Athens School of Fine Arts. He has numerous publications and lectures on public art, digital art history, public monuments, public and collective memory, museums history and politics. The last 3 years during his courses in the University and in the framework of his collaboration with several museums he has carried out many digital projects concerning digital humanities, public history, public memory and monuments, and public sculpture.
